So a few weeks ago Steve, Ava and I drove to Couer d’Alene Idaho. Steve’s step sister Barbie got married and we got to participate in the festivities! I love seeing Steve’s side of the family. They are so much fun and we have a ton of nieces and nephews too! We got there just in time for the rehearsal dinner. Steve and I left the night before and drove through the night in hopes that Ava would make it through longer stretches of driving if we did that. Needless to say we were exhausted and I think are still catching up on sleep from that fun filled weekend! When we got to the dinner our sweet nieces and nephews came out to greet and meet their newest cousin for the first time!
Niece #1 Kyla, I am just in love with this little spitfire of a girl.
Miss Abbi, she is the shy one.
Mr. Alex, Abbi's little brother
Miss Ava was very content in her sling. I think she was a bit overwelmed meeting a ton of family members for the first time!
Ava finally warmed up to her new family members and decided to break free of the sling once dinner started! It all started with the tongue!
Then our eyes got big and our arms started to go wild!
Then we took a minute to show off the smile we've been practicing.
I hung out with Aunt Carla.
There was one last bright eyed look at the camera...
then it was back into the sling for me...
The next day was an adventure all of it's own... The wedding of Steve's step sister took place on top of a mountain, which we had to take a lift up to the top in order to view a very amazing scene. We had to dress warm from head to toe
and all you could see of Ava was her big blue eyes and button nose.
Looks for this wedding did not matter as you can see that I am wearing pants!
The view from on top was extraordinary!
The wedding party was pretty good looking as well.
Barbie looked amazing
Tristan was very excited to see the knot get tied for these two!
The decor at the reception was fun
Ava gave her usually camera look
And we all hung out late into the evening... Congrats to Barb and Tom once more!
Small disclaimer: I am still figuring out this inserting photo thing… obviously.
